Milbemax Tasty contains milbemycin oxime and praziquantel, a combination that is effective against: roundworm (Toxocara cati), tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., and Echinococcus multilocularis), hookworm (Ancylostoma tubaeforme) and heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis).
This broad spectrum activity means that Milbemax Tasty also offers protection against the effects of a worm infestation for cats travelling on the continent. Indeed, it’s a legal requirement to use a product containing praziquantel, such as Milbemax Tasty, to treat any possible infection with Echinoccocus multilocularis before a cat is able to enter the UK under the PETS scheme
