Dopram V drops are a very effective respiratory stimulant for new-born puppies and kittens and should be an essential part of your kit if you are going to breed a bitch or queen. The birth process is immensely stressful for the new-born animal, with huge physiological changes happening as it leaves its mother’s womb and placenta behind – not least it must draw its first breath and failure to do this properly could be fatal or leave it damaged. Simple to use, after you clear any fluid or other material from the mouth, simply administer the correct number of drops (2 – 10 depending on size) to the underside of the tongue.
